WHAT WE CHECK
Simple Check covers the checks below. Advanced Check includes all of them and adds provider-backed exact-mailbox and catch-all signals.
Checks structure and length, normalizes international domain names, and identifies plus-address tags.
Checks whether the domain after the @ exists and can be resolved.
Looks for MX records, explicit no-email declarations, and domains with no usable mail service.
Classifies common consumer, custom, education, and government mail domains.
Checks our local temporary-email list and provider findings on Advanced Check reports.
Flags shared inbox names such as admin, billing, sales, support, and info.
Looks for common misspellings of major consumer email domains and suggests a correction.
Shows whether the domain publishes SPF and DMARC records.
Maps the email column, removes duplicates before charging, queues the work, and creates filtered exports.
ADVANCED CHECK ADDS
AcceptedThe receiving system appeared to accept the address when checked.
RejectedThe provider found evidence that the exact mailbox is not accepted.
Catch-allThe domain accepts arbitrary addresses, so the individual inbox cannot be confirmed.
InconclusiveThe receiving system did not provide a dependable answer.
IMPORTANT
Mailbox status can change, some receiving systems hide or distort their answers, and a technically valid address can still block or filter a message. Mail Forge never sends a test email.
